Overall, it was a great stay!

Everything here was great! A lovely balcony with a fantastic view and a great location very close to Waikiki Beach (7 minute walk) . However, the sofa bed was terrible to sleep on as it made noise every time someone moved on it. There were also no complimentary coffee, tea bags, or water provided. Hawaii Vacation Properties, was very easy to work with and we would definitely rent this room again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Ilikai. Our room had a magnificent view of the marina and ocean. Being winter, you could see the sunset from one side of the lanai, but it would be clearly visible during the rest of the year. The wonderful view could be seen from lying in the bed.The kitchen was very nice and well equipped with dinnerware, utensils and small appliances. Under the sink we had several trash bags, liquid soap, dishwasher soap tablets, and a fresh sponge.The living room was nice, but the chair was in need of replacement and the couch a bit outdated and worn. The king bed was comfortable, but the room could use a splash of color with a new bedspread. Perfect stay in Waikiki!

The unit is located inside the iconic Ilikai building located at the north of Waikiki beach. The apartment is large, super well equipped and it's perfect for a couple. At ground floor there's a small deli/grocery store surprisingly well stocked in which you can buy everything you need to enjoy a dinner or a drink while watching at the wonderful view you will have from the unit. - (Aug 2022 - HomeAway)

Lovely Ilikai!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Ilikai Hotel & Suites for our second time. Hotel is perfectly situated at the end of Waikiki Beach so the pace is a bit slower but we wandered through the centre of Waikiki as the sights, sounds and restaurants are fabulous and busy. Room 1639 with a spectacular sunset and marina view was clean and had everything we needed. Be sure to bring any spices, salt, pepper, etc. with you that you may want as none are in this unit. When the coffeemaker didn't work on our first morning we called the wonderful Nancy and she had a new one to us amazingly quickly. We would stay here again! - (Dec 2021 - HVP)

Great Unit

Excellent unit, super clean, well equipped, with a great view. Walking distance to Ala Moana Beach Park a big plus. The unit had everything we needed for a 3 week stay. Strong internet connection allowed me to work virtually when I needed it. Beach chairs were very much appreciated. Looking forward to visiting again. - (Aug 2021)

Excellent stay again

Our eighth stay at Ilikai, most of them via HVP. HVP is good for attention to detail, speedy repair, consistent quality/condition of rooms/kitchens/bedding/linen/beach towel, etc. Great new beach chairs this time. 1639 is in great condition, recent upgrades. Strong wi-fi, complete kitchen and table ware,etc. The best part is the sunset view. Also love the partial shading of the balcony all day (some other balcony's are way too hot. Wide angle ocean view from this unit, best side of the building. Warm pool for swimming. Shallow shallow pool for chair-in-the-water lounging and young children. Great place to stay near Ala Moana

"Great place to stay near the Ala Moana. Newly remodeled interior. View from room was great overlooking marina. Check in was super easy just walk in Ilikai go to room and plug in a code, don't have to talk to anyone. Parking was well priced for valet. Pool was newly redone too.
