Very Nice Accomodations!

Beautifully decorated. Loved bathroom configuration. Over the years we have stayed in various rental units from HVP at the Ilikai. The Ilikai has 3 wings (Ewa, Makai, Makau). This unit is in the Makai wing, overlooks the marina, Ala Wai canal and Magic Island, and also is the side where the sunsets can be viewed from the lanai.A couple of things:This unit did not have as many kitchen items as other units that we have stayed in (bowls, serving dishes) and was a little sparse on beach towels (two regular colored bath towels served as the beach towels).There were not any instructions on how to use the TV with the two remotes which had Roku which were not familiar with as well as Spectrum. Some short instructions would have been helpful.But as always Hawaiian Vacation Properties was very efficient to book with and manage our reservation. Clear complete instructions as well as a very clean and tidy unit.We will book again next year! - (Oct 2022 - HVP)

Honolulu Happiness!

We spent 8 night at Ilikai Marina, 1737 this August. Great balcony with a high boy which is idealfor us and to take in the view (as some have lower tables or too much furniture). This was our third stay and we will continue to return.The island and people have made a beautiful recovery from the pandemic. Everyone was more friendly than ever. We felt right at home and had some super sleeps. The internet was fast so work was easy from the balcony and bar area. - (Aug 2022 - HVP)

Excellent location with easy access to beach and marina. We have been to Hawaii multiple times but never stayed on Waikiki. This was a spontaneous trip for us and we found this condo with a short window period that had an opening. The condo is in an excellent location, the views are superb, there is easy access to the beach or the marina of which we utilized both. This is a well-known facility and there is good access to public transportation out the front door (the bus), you can easily get an Uber or taxi on the premises, we did not rent a car on this trip which is the first time we have not had a rental car while in Hawaii. With the great location and everything right there at basically your fingertips we never felt like we needed a car. The condominium has everything that two people would need for a short stay. Thoroughly enjoyed!

We were referred to this property for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. We had invited 4 other couples to join us for what we called the Love Fest part 2; each party having their own private condo. We went to Walmart to do a little bit of grocery shopping to stock each room. The room was nice and clean and provided everything was needed for our stay. Although the air conditioner was on full blast upon our arrival, that was an easy fix. Our view of the marina and sunset was exceptional! I would highly recommend this property. The only thing is, you will need a Master's degree to operate the TV and the million remote controls; we at least wanted to watch the news. *smile* Great property! - (Aug 2021)

Highly recommend!

Highly recommend! We stayed here for a month and we will stay here again when we come back to Honolulu.  
Pros: 
(1) The room is updated and well-maintained. Fully-equipped kitchen with lots of cookware and a dishwasher. The big Lainai is the highlight. We spent most of our time there enjoying the amazing ocean view 
(2) The view is amazing. This room is facing north west which gives the room a great sunset view but not direct sun in the afternoon (it will be hot in the summer) 
(3) The location is perfect for us. 2mins walk to the beach, 10mins walk to the Waikiki, 5mins walk to Ala Moana Center. Plenty of restaurants and groceries nearby 
 
Cons: 
(1) Wifi speed was a bit challenging when both of us joined video meetings - (Feb 2021)

Great Condo

There was nothing we didn't like about this condo. It is one of the best equipped and cleanest condos we have ever stayed at. The only things it didn't have, and we didn't need, was an egg timer and a phone. The view from the lanai is great but bring binoculars to enjoy it fully. Location is near local bus stops and we made good use of the bus services. A great way to get around Honolulu. - (Dec 2019 - AirBNB)

Great location with fantastic view

This was a great condo with amazing views of marina and awesome sunsets every night. Property was nice and clean and the A/C kept the condo cool and worked well without being noisy. Close to Ala Moana Park and Magic Island for morning walks or beach if you wanted something quieter than Waikiki Beach. Amenities were great as well. The location and scenery of the apartment is great

The location and scenery of the apartment is great even in the golden Waikiki. The balcony space is large enough, the dining room and sofa are indoors, the bed is very comfortable, the internet is fast, and the home is light and luxurious. I hope the landlord can provide coffee and more. Bath products. It is recommended for 1 or 2 people. - (Jun 2019)

Great location. Lovely condo. Very well equipped. Highly recommend.

The condo was lovely and well equipped. Perfect for 2 people. The bed was comfortable, along with the sofa and chair. The pub style lanai furniture was nice - you could easily look out from the lanai without any railing obstructions. The 2 beach chairs available made sunning on the beach very comfortable - much better than the bamboo mats normally used.  
Overlooking the marina was great. It was much cooler in the afternoon as compared to the lagoon side of the Ilikai. There was always a lot of activity in the marina, from kayakers and sailing dingys, to larger sailboats and tourist vessels. We also enjoyed watching commercial and military ship traffic into the harbours. We also enjoyed watching the aircrafts coming and going from Honolulu airport. We definitely recommend bringing binoculars on your trip. The Ilikai is in a quieter area as opposed to central Waikiki and much closer to the Ala Moana Shopping Centre. Having a Food Pantry just 2 blocks down Hobron Street was convenient although a little pricier than Foodland or Walmart.  
Overall we had a great holiday and stay in Room 1737. We would definitely book this room again next time we return to Waikiki. We had 2 of daughters and family staying in other areas of the Ilikai and all said that our condo (1737) was much nicer than theirs.

Most beautiful views!!!

I stayed at this location and it was in the middle of everything. I could walk to Ala Moana and to Waikiki within minutes. The view was absolutely stunning and the room was beautiful. I will definitely be staying here again!!! - (Feb 2019)

Fantastic stay
