Exactly as shown! We unfortunately had a wedding reception during the fireworks on the Friday we were there but saw a luau across the street Sunday night! It was amazing to wake up to the beautiful ocean and lagoon.

This property was a welcome change from staying downtown Waikiki. It is still only a short walk to International Market place and much closer to Ala Moana. Relaxing on the lanai was so peaceful with the view of the lagoon and ocean. The kitchen was stocked with all necessary pots, pans and appliances. There is no vent over the stove, so that was a bit strange. The pictures show the property accurately and the only real downside is the old style window AC that can be quite loud. But that is very easy to get over.
 
The condos are 500 sq ft. The ACs are high capacity for this climate. We have all ACs on a scheduled professional maintenance.

A great place to stay. Clean,roomy and whoever equipped it thought like me! I had everything I needed and knew where to find it. Having the laundry across the hall was convenient. I enjoyed sitting on the lanai -great view- and a sneak peek at the luau next door and good view of the fireworks. I visit every year to see my son and will definitely be back!

We stayed in room 1612. It was well stocked and cleanI would highly suggest this room. It has a great view of the ocean,lagoon and even the luau on top of the Hilton. They only thing that I would change about the room is the mattress is it was really firm. Will be staying here again soon.

This airbnb was incredible. The room had views of the ocean, the hilton lagoon, the city, and diamond head. I would 100% recommend anyone to stay here.

Very good location and nice view! Easy access to the beach. There is Hilton village nearby. But around 15min walk to center of Waikiki.

We stayed in ilikai 1612 for a little over 2 weeks. The room was exavtle as described. The room was s solid 3.5 star room. BUT the View. Geez louise. 5 star all the wsy.we woke up every morning and had beaky overlooking the ocean and drinks every night doing the same. We had every nighslso had a great view of thr fire works every friday night. The bed was a little uncomfortable but im picky with beds. Thr toilet was blocked on arrival but was fixed immrdiatlley we bought it to managements attention. Its a 15 minute walk to waikiki brach and 5 minutrs to ala moana shopping centre. The view from the room is better than what is in the pictires.Highly recommend this room and venue. Also cinnamons the restaraunt make besutiful pancakes and killer margatitas. Cant wait to go again.

We were very pleased with both Unit 1612 at the Ilikai and how easy and efficient Hawaii Vacation Properties was to work with. When we arrived the housekeeper had just finished and I watched her Supervisor inspect the unit. I have owned 2 vacation rental properties of my own for 15+ years and I was impressed with the thoroughness and attention to detail that HVP showed in making certain that the property was well equipped and maintained. I have been staying at the Ilikai for 15+ years and prefer this location for the lagoon & ocean views and pleasant morning sun/afternoon shade on the terrace. A great find - we'll be back!

This place was beautifully located and just as described. Sat on the balcony every night and enjoyed the weather. Would have been perfect for fireworks but Hilton canceled them the day of due to technical issues. The restaurant downstairs had a great breakfast. Right next to tons of shops and public transportation. My 3rd time in Hawaii in a year and a half!!! Would definitely stay again!

This is the first time staying downtown and at the ilikia.The overall impression is very good with only a few improvements needed.The first is the shower needs to be cleaned better and the track in the bedroom should be cleaned to remove dirt so the doors slide better. All in all this is a very nice condo with great views you wont be disappointed if you stay he.

The Ilikai is perfectly situated, close to everything and, of course, perfect views. Unit 1612 was very clean and quite lovely. I appreciated the Hawaiian decor evoking bygone days and the Hawaiian atmosphere, not the decor of any condo in any city. I loved the code entry system, much easier than keeping track of a key/key card. Management was wonderful, taking care of anything I needed quickly and in a professional friendly manner. Will definitely return to this unit.

We stayed at this condo for a week, and loved it. The place was incredible, just like the photos, very clean and comfortable. View was amazing, fireworks right outside against the view of the ocean on Friday night, lots of activity but quiet enough to enjoy resting after the busy day. The Discover Center nearby has many car rental companies, and makes it easy to explore the island. Looking forward to another stay!!

We love the Ilikai and this condo has everything you need plus a terrific view! Short walk to access the beach, shopping or the trail along the canal. We also walked to the Aquarium and Kapiolani Park. Be sure to experience dinner at the Hau Tree Restaurant on San Souci Beach and a Mai Tai at the Royal Hawaiian. The restaurant at the top of the Ilikai has terrific happy hour prices and we like Cinnamon's for any time of the day.

First time travelling to Hawaii with the family (2 adults and a 6 year old boy) and the views were exceptional. Conveniently located close to Ala Moana Center, the pool and the lagoon was very entertaining for my son and to cool down each day. Condo has everything you need and plenty of towels too. Great facilities with the convenience store downstair and shared washer and dryer on the level. Highly recommended.

The condo pictures are totally accurate. Incredible view. Location cant be beaten. No need for a car at all. We travel a great deal and this may have been our most relaxing vacation ever. Last time we did the sightseeing. This time: terrific breakfast...pool/ocean and good book...great dinner...Repeat! One of the best values we have ever had! Mahalo!
 
Ilikai met all our expectations

Our first time to Hawaii and we were very glad we chose to stay at the Ilikai. The apartment was terrific - clean and comfortable and easy care with the tiled floor and balcony. The fabulous view from the balcony looking across to the Hilton lagoon and beach tempted us onto the balcony at all hours of the day and night to eat, sip on a wine or just sit back. Apartment was well furnished and had a nice relaxing beachside decor. Liked the keyless entry. Bed very comfortable and free wi-fi worked without a glitch. Good kitchen and appliances included. Appreciated the beach chairs and towels provided. Position is fantastic - we were glad we weren't staying in the more frenetic Waikiki stretch - yet it was still only about a 10 minute walk or a $2.50 bus ride. Ilikai also close to Ala Moana Mall for our shopping hits. Can't wait to return.

I can not recommend the Ilikai suites enough! We stayed for the Honolulu Marathon in December and it was absolutely perfect! The location was within walking distance of the starting line which made the 5am time much easier!
The check-in / check-out process was way more convenient then a hotel and we had everything in the suite we needed for the entire stay. The room was beautiful, incredibly clean, well supplied with towels and extra pillows/bedding.
This will for sure be our regular place to stay when in Honolulu!
 
Great condo with best location

First of all, the location of the condo is the best, you have waikiki beach area and the Ala Moana shopping mall with walking distance. It's really cost effective for Christmas time compared to other hotels. Both lagoon and ocean view is enjoyable. The room and linen are clean, well equipped with what we need. One suggestion is to upgrade the bath area.

The condo was great and suited our needs perfectly! The view was incredible and easy to access the pool and lagoon, which was wonderful if we ever had to scoot the kids up.

Our stay at this suite of the ilikai was very enjoyable. The view from our lani was to die for, we had everything we needed should we decide to cook. It was very handy to everything and close to the big shopping centre. The view for the fireworks was beautiful. The only thing I would suggest would be new linen as the line was old and therefore did not look clean, also to have even just a few tea bags , coffee , sugar and a small milk when guests first arrive until they can get to the store. We would defiantly suggest the iklikai and especially suite 1612 to all our friends for future holidays. We will be back and we will be staying at 1612 ilikai suites. This was a wonderful suite. I was just a little disappointed that the front of the building was being renovated . Would have loved to have gotten a picture of the fountains out front!! Anyway, our suite was very nice, perfect for 2 people. The bed was very comfortable and had plenty of pillows. The Lania was very nice and large to sit out on. GREAT view, overlooked the lagoon and ocean. The Kitchen and the bathroom looked as though they have been remodeled recently, very nice. The kitchen had the basics to do any light cooking. Sitting area was nice, tv good size, the only thing is that HD service would have been nice. Couldn't get used to the time difference for shows, (from East Coast). The Pool area was dated but comfortable. The bar area was just so Beautiful, between the gardens, fountains, and the view, couldn't have asked for more. The staff at the bar were super friendly, food was great. Ate there several times and never had any problems with anything. Sitting in the bar also had a wonderful view. Looking over the Marina was Beautiful especially when the sun was setting, (great pictures). Rich and his staff (at the bar) couldn't have been more accommodating. All in all I would say this suite and the entire condo is something that I would recommend to anyone. We were there for 8 days and loved being there.

Love this condo!! #1612 took our breath away, the second we walked in!! The view is incredible!! Honestly!! The condo check-in was flawless, and so easy!! Kat answered any, and all questions quickly, and a very nice touch leaving us a tote bag, pen, info, and Hershey's Macadamia Kisses!! The furnishings are clean and have a nice island-feel!! The kitchen and bathroom are well-stocked, and they even offer 2 beach chairs, boogie boards, and sand mats, although we only utilized the sand mats. A/c works wonderfully, and there is also a fan to use as well!! The Ilikai staff is friendly and helpful, and you can book tours right at the Concierge desk! Also, it is a short walk to many activities, or the bus and trolley stop right in front of the building! Make sure to stay on a Friday night, as you have a front-row view to the fireworks right from your room!! Phenomenal!! I can't say enough wonderful things about this condo!! The only things I would improve are the mattress (too soft), and maybe have some darker curtains for those mornings you want to sleep in a little. Other than those two minor things, this condo is superb, and we will come back here again!! I dearly miss the view, and dream about it often!! Thank you again from a very satisfied (and first time) condo renter!

Property Visited: Ilikia 1612 at the beach
We enjoyed 5 nights in the Ilikai 16th floor in april. The view is breathtaking. The Ilikai is superbly located in Waikiki for walking everywhere or catching the local bus. Kat from Hawaii Vacation Properties helped us with our last minute booking and even an early check in. Thank you Kat! The condo is very comfortable, perfectly clean and great. Try to stay on a friday night as the fireworks are truly beautiful and you can enjoy them from your own lanai. We loved our stay in 1612 Ilikai! :)
