This was our 4th stay at the ilikai, it’s a great spot easy walk along the beach into central waikaki, great marina views & great lanai. Some basic tea/coffee/milk supplies would be a great idea
We are from New Zealand & have owned and stayed at Ilikai since the 80's. During our stay at 908 on Oceanside which is perfectly placed for view & height, we appreciated that noise and business is minimal due to the clever build and siting of the hotel. The Hotel and Apartments have maintained the high standard that many the same age have dropped. Great Coffee shop (important) surrounded by great restaurants and up the road from Ali Moana (very important) we are booked again for next year. Just love hotel and people.
Only constructive feedback to 908 - more towels and thicker Toilet paper!
We had issue with check-in and office was able to resolve this quickly.
This condo has been remodeled and painted recently with laminated floor and granite countertop .....
Excellent condition and much better shape than what is shown in pictures. We had sunset dinner every night from lanai. Will definitely book this unit for our future Oahu trip.
price is good.
room size is good too.
Amenities were fair .
Television troubles are often occur .
Television manuals and easy informations are needs for visitors.
We will use this room next year .
We stayed for 2 weeks during spring break and had the greatest holiday.
We have stayed at the Ilikai every year since 2010 and will be back in 2020.
We have always stayed on the marina view side and enjoyed the sunset but this year we tried the lagoon side. Morning sun, luau music and fireworks...fantastic!
We also enjoyed the sunset from across the hall where my son and family stayed or around the corner where my other son and family stayed...Crazy big family get together at the Ilikai. All our needs were taken care of by Kathleen and her wonderful team.
The check in is always a breeze. The box on the lanai full of goodies for the beach which we were happy to add to. My wife said the bed allowed her a great nights sleep and I take her word for it ...as I was snoring away and sleeping well.
The condo is quite modern and well equipped and the cane furniture giving a great island vibe.
I have 3 suggestions to offer...some form of subdued lighting for the lanai, dimmers on the inside light switches ( I unscrewed several bulbs) and a couple more toilet rolls!
We will be back next year.

Our stay in Unit 804 was extremely relaxed and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom, although on the small side was great. Storage for clothes was adequate with the added sideboard.
The view was fabulous and most nights of our stay was spent on the lanai overlooking the marina and the the sunset. Gorgeous.
The location was ideal, easy walks to shopping or Waikiki Beach. The Bus stops were right out the front of the hotel and there were always taxis available for hire too.
HVP was easy to deal with and made access to the Unit a breeze.
Thankyou for the opportunity to stay in this lovely unit. We will be recommending it to friends and would not hesitate in staying there when next we are in Honolulu.
Overall, this was a nice condo with a great location. The regular bed was very comfortable but the sofa bed was not the greatest. It would be ok for a child but my husband slept on it and was way too small for him. Other than this, it was a very nice unit. We enjoyed the use of the kitchen as we cooked in it daily. Great views of the marina and beautiful sunsets.
The view is amazing, not only of the ocean, but the fireworks and the Luau on the Hilton Hawaiian Village parking garage! The condo is a perfect size for 2 people. If there were more, I think it would be a tight fit. The pillows and mattress might need to be changed out. Again the view is AMAZING.
I stayed at the Ilikai with my family (2 adults and 2 children aged 2 and 5) in March 2019 for 4 nights. The location is quite central and it's an easy walk to many restaurants, beaches and malls. The Lagoon right beside the Ilikai was wonderful for children with calm waters and lots of room to play in shallow waters. The condo itself was clean upon arrival and fairly well stocked (coffee filters, dish soap, basic toiletries, etc.). The instructions re: check in and check out were very easy to follow. We did not have any trouble during our stay. The condo was quiet with a lovely lanai. The pictures are an accurate representation. We did not notice any street noise and the walls seemed well insulated as did not hear anything from neighboring suites though we knew they were occupied. The king sized bed was comfortable and the couch provided enough room for our 5 year old to sleep well. We would certainly stay at Ilikai 404 again in the future!
After a dozen years we still believe the Ilikai has the best location, close to the beach , shops & all the amenities. #1721 was well appointed & stocked with everything needed for a lovely dinner on the lanai or for hosting a dinner for friends. Great spot!
