The condo was well setup and had everything we needed. Great view of the fireworks. Exceeded our expectations. We really enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend staying here. Perfect for a couple.

Amazing view for a great price

The view is just amazing to wake up to every morning. The place had just the right amount of space for us 2 and could easily have fit more. The place had a good restaurant downstairs and you are walking distance from other great places to eat. The only issue we had was parking, if you rent a car it can get costly if you use the valet service but their is parking on the backside that is a dollar an hour and we ended up using that most of the time. Overall we would definitely stay their again when we go back.

We highly recommend staying at the Ilikai . Services on site are perfect too. Location is great for families as well as couples. The condo is very well equipped and has an amazing view.My only criticism would be concerning the air conditioning system that is WAY to loud and could make sleeping a challenge if you are easily kept awake. But except that small problem for us, we were more than satisfied and would stay there again.

Great room with excellent view
Loved the condo and location. Very close to the beach and plenty to do around the area. Room was clean and quiet with a great view of the Friday night fireworks.

My wife gave me two thumbs up when we walked into this Ilikai Suite, which means a lot to me. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, and having a morning walk around the lagoon and the beach was a real treat.. We will be glad to come back to the Ilikai for another rest and renewal time.

We really enjoyed our stay in Unit 542 at the llikai.
The kitchen had everything we needed. We did not cook in the room but if we
had wanted to it was well equipped.
Bed was very comfortable. We were there for a month so it would have been
nice to have a second set of sheets. Every week we took the bedding off and
down to the laundry room to wash. It would have been nice to be able to make
the bed right away instead of having to wait for laundry to be done.
Also, would have been nice to have some newer towels and another set.
Location is perfect. Easy walk to restaurants, city, parks and beach. Walked the
entire Waikiki beach and thought the llikai end had more accessible beach with no
slope. Loved the boardwalk, we would get ice cream, sit on a bench and watch the sunset, a volleyball game, pickle ball match or local surfers.
Watching Friday night fireworks from the balcony was awesome!
Loved the bather elevator. Made getting to the pools super easy.
People at the hotel were very nice.
Could not leave the sliders open at night because the room is above the loading
dock but shutting them and turning on the AC took care of the noise.
We had a couple light bulbs go out in the kitchen, but sent an email to the condo
management people (info located on Unit door) and they were there that afternoon.
All in all had a wonderful month stay and will be returning.

My husband and I decided to extend out stay in Hawaii. Our current suite was not available, but Kat and the staff at Hawaii Vacation Properties made it happen for us. We left our bags with the bellhop until our new suite was available. In the mean time we played around the island without a care in the world. And when it was time to go back to the condo we walked into a beautiful suite and the bellhop delivered our luggage. Seamless!! The condo it lovely. The kitchen was perfect with everything we needed. We cooked at the condo a lot to save time and money. We had all the flatware and cookware we needed and then some. And the view was beautiful. If you want to sit on the lanai instead of working through the crush on the beach for the fireworks then this is your place.

Hawaii vacation properties is a company where I rent my condo in Hawaii from. I have been going to the same condo now for 5 years and have to say the guys here are all wonderful and helpful and look after you. I would never go anywhere else and have given their info to friends & family that want to travel and stay in Waikiki. Condo is always beautiful and clean just love that condo and a wonderful greeting from the team when I arrive that always makes me smile.

Ilikai condo 542 is just amazing I come twice a year and always pick this condo as it's just perfect for me! Firstly before I talk about the condo I have to say a huge thank you to Kat and her team at Hawaii vacation properties they are just the best so helpful and they just look after there customers! I have stayed in this condo a lot I'm a regular here now and I got to say Kat is just awesome and I will always come back and spend my money here!! The condo is always clean on arrival nothing is ever out of place and not 1 thing has ever gone wrong! Kat calls to see if everything is ok and most places you stay at don't look after there customers but they do! The views at the condo are amazing love sitting out on the Lani it's just beautiful! Love the hole ilikai building met a lot of condo owners there and just beautiful people! I feel like I'm home when I'm there so much aloha around its awesome! Will definitely be back! November is looking good so I will definitely be re booking! Thank you so much Kat for all your help and I will continue to pass out your details and make sure my friends and family book through you!!! Much aloha to you and your team!!!

This was my third stay at the Ilikai but first with lagoon view, the other stays had marina views but for my money the lagoon view is the one I liked most. Room 542 has a perfect view it overlooks the Hilton lagoon and affords an unobstructed view of Friday's fireworks show. I always stay on this end of Waikiki because it doesn't feel as crowded, but everything is just a short walk away.
Kitchen is modern with newer appliances and marble counter top's with everything needed to prepare food plus toaster and blender. The refrigerator has a built in ice maker with through the door access to ice and cold water.
The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage space for cloths and everything else.
Suggestions for the owner would be to replace the badly worn chair in the TV area and exchange the huge lanai table with a smaller one (it takes up too much space).

It was lovely to meet Kat and Kathy in person when I checked in early. Thank you for making the apartment available to us 11am. The view of the beach is spectacular and the apartment was clean and in an awesome location. It was great to be away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki but still have easy access to everything.
There are fireworks every Friday night at the Hilton lagoon.
The only downside is that the air conditioner is very noisy so please wear ear plugs at night. FYI, Parking is not allowed overnight at the Marina.

My husband and I have been vacationing in Hawaii for the Last 7 years. We always stay at the Ilikai Condo's. The lagoon side is my favorite (although the marina is beautiful too) the beds are comfortable with nice soft sheets. High quality towels, everything you need is there. The fireworks on Friday nights are spectacular from your lanai. The only thing I would like to see is the availability to have more beach towels in the room. Kat is my favorite she goes up and beyond in her job...

The condo is clean and the bed is comfortable. Location is a big plus. It's convenient to everywhere. The only drawback is the smell along the hall way. Since it's my first time try condo, I am not sure it is the complex supposed to smell. All in all, it is a pleasant stay. Thanks. Will come back.

I come and stay in the ilikai hotel every year I stay in room 542 and I love that room!!! I can't fault anything everything is ready to go for my arrival! The bed is the Best ever love it so comfy and the room is amazing! The people here are so friendly and I have met so many new friends from just staying there! I also met Debbie she was amazing and very helpful! Will be coming back again this year and next love room 542 perfect for me! Anyone that reads this review make sure you book through hawaii vacation rentals!!! It's a Must!!! Great people.

Our vacation stay is beyond words. We visited from 10/21 - 10/28/14. We had an awesome time in Oahu. The condo was a pleasure to return to after a full day visiting the island,. The restaurant was also a pleasure to have breakfast out in the open and delicious food.
When I made breakfast or dinner, we had a wonderful view to eat on the patio, what a spectacular view.
Kitchen was comfort zone to cook.
We are already discussing returning to Ilikai Apts, but this time a larger suite to be more relaxed.
I am giving our stay a 10 plus.
Thanks Kat for assisting us to be comfortable on our vacation.
We were close to shopping center, para sailing, restaurants, we traveled to Pearl Harbor, Polynesian Culture Center, Germaines Luau, and ,much more, used a quarter tank. Condo centralized for everything.

Best thing about booking with them was dealing with Kat. We did a very last minute booking and she was great and went above and beyond to help us find a great place to stay. I didn't know what to expect since we always rent from hotels in Hawaii. This was our first condo rental and will probably from now on keep doing so. It met and exceeded our expectations! Ilikai was the perfect location as it was central to where we wanted to be. Just steps away from the marina and the lagoon. We had such a beautiful view of the "friday night" firework display from the Hilton Hawaiian Village! Having that full kitchen and the laundry facility on every floor was a plus. Will never forget waking up every morning to that amazing view. Definitely recommend for everyone. Especially families. We will most definitely come back!

My fiancee flew in from Auckland and I arrived a couple of hours later on the same day Sept. 16th to celebrate my birthday on the island for the second year. I looked for a long time to find this amazing deal online and was sad it was not available on the day we arrived but decided to book for 5 nights starting Sept. 17th since the reviews were wonderful and the condo was newly redecorated. We definitely received what we expected! The view of the ocean, pool and beach of our window was breathtaking and the Ilikai hotel was perfect for us to get reunited. There were days it was very hot and we just decided to stay in and enjoy the air conditioned studio where we cooked breakfast every morning together. We did rent a car so parking was a bit hard and sometimes pricy but the beach has a parking lot where you can park for free from 4.30am until 10.30pm so we mostly moved our car across the street to the Marina for overnight parking for a pretty good price of $10 for 10 hours during the week and an extra $2 for the weekends per night. The sink in the bathroom was a bit plugged up unfortunately but the amenities of the hotel were absolutely lovely. They just opened up the small restaurant downstairs when we arrived that week and the hotel celebrated their 50th anniversary with a big Luau on Friday night. We ate at the restaurant and had a front row view of the show and walked over to the fireworks at 8.45pm x 100 feet from our table. What a cool place to be during your birthday. We hope to be back next year after my move to New Zealand in October this year!

Would book this condo again in a heartbeat. We've traveled to Honolulu before and stayed in hotels in Waikiki but this condo was much better. Location was perfect. With the kids liked and we used the calm lagoon infront of the Hilton instead of the ocean. Has a wonderful kitchen - one trip to Costco & Foodland for smaller items and we were able to eat in alot. Loved the veiw from the balacony, enjoyed many cocktail hours on there & Hilton's Friday nite fireworks were fantastic.

Great place to stay. Condo was perfect for us, great views of the Hilton Lagoon, fireworks and ocean. Condo had everything we could need. Keyless entry was great and no problems at all. Definitely recommend this suite. Perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle but only a short walk to any of the main attractions in Waikiki. Bus/Tram stops right outside and any tour bus also stops right outside. Couldn't have asked for more

We recently travelled to Hawaii and absolutely loved the condo!! This was our first trip here with children. We have two boys age 8 and 12 and a baby girl. We were very comfortable here. The large pullout couch was perfect for the boys and the king bed was very comfortable. Large closet with drawers to store your things!! It was very modern and had plenty of dishes and cookware and even spices:). The view was amazing and the location great. Being on the 5th floor was nice for the view and a shorter trip up and down! It's a short walk to the lagoon and beach and a beautiful marina right in front. The Ilikai was a great hotel to be in. The condo units are so nice for families so you can stock up on groceries and cook in if you like. Walmart is a bit of a journey up the road, but we walked there to get groceries, otherwise other stores near hotel quite costly. I recommend taking the bus because it was very hard to walk back with all of our things. People will tell you it's a quick walk, but trust me with ten bags it isn't!!! We didn't venture out too far the first few days, but I definately recommend walking over to the Hilton next door which has 20 + restaurants and shops, which we didn't notice until the end of our stay. You can take bus or shuttle to many attractions so renting a car isn't really necessary, but we did two days and toured the North shore and Hanauma Bay which was awesome!! Our boys had a blast in the pool and ocean and the location is definately at the quiet end of Wailkiki! You can walk down to the busier parts easily...The room came with plenty of shampoo and soap which I wish I had known as we packed our own. Only two things I would change would be more beach towels. There were only two, so I would bring some or just buy a few when you arrive. Also, as hard as we tried to not get any sand in the room it happens and with a full tile floor throughout a throw rug or two would really help especially near the bed and in bathroom and kitchen. Otherwise we loved the condo and it truly was beautiful and nicely appointed:). Would defiantly stay here again and the price was right!!!! One more thing, if you like snorkeling take the catamaran over at Ko' Ilina resort up the island near Disney's Aulani resort. Truly the best trip with four hours of boat time and food and two snorkel stops, even swam with several turtles which I have never seen on a trip before:)

This apartment was just like the photo's, big bed and comfy seating. Kitchen very well stocked with equipment (blender, toasted sandwich maker, spice rack and everything else you could need). View over the lagoon and pool area. Very quiet at night - although for us the only down side was the loud air con unit - although this seems a common problem in the states! We loved staying at this property and would do so again!

My husband and I were celebrating our 25th anniversery. We were very pleased with the Condo. The views were great. The keyless entry lock was great. The Condo had a everthing we needed. When I asked what extra I should bring and I was told just you and your bathing suit, they were right. It was very clean and the decor made us feel right at home. We will make another trip back to Hawaii and we will rent this Condo again. Thank you to the owners for renting this wonderful Condo to guests.
