Wonderful stay and awesome location

My husband and I travelled with 2 other couples. they stayed in the 2 bedroom, while we stayed in the studio. We loved the studio! it was clean, well maintained, lots of towels and there were beach chairs and body beach equipment on the balcony, ocean and marina views. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the pool. lagoon and Oceanside beach, all-in-one location. The Friday fireworks were amazing and I would stay in 1904 again. Aloha!

We had the best holiday here. We loved the location, used the pool and thought our overall experience here was fantastic. The condo was great - no faults at all. We did 15 days & 3 Island's from Australia and this was one of our favourite stays.
 
My Favorite Harbour View

My husband and I had a great week from March 26-March 31, 2018. We both spent a lot of time just sitting on the balcony enjoying the sounds and smells of Hawaii. The suite was very well stocked with all the needed equipment for meals, it very, very clean, and had plenty of storage for the visitor. The only difficulty we had was with the wheelchair that my husband has recently come to need. We had to figure the exact angle to get it through the door but once we got the angle right it worked. To avoid this problem next time (if he still needs it) we will invest in one of the electric scooters since they are more narrow and the concierge says if we call in advance it can be waiting for us on arrival. We highly recommend this suite. Already checking our budget to see how soon can we go again.

This condo is exactly as advertised...and the perfect size for one or two people. I stayed there for three weeks in February and found it clean, convenient and calm. The bed is comfortable (though it could use better linen), the kitchen is well equipped, and the location, both inside the building and in Honolulu itself, is easy to access--ie., there's no need for a car. But the view was the big draw for me; the highlight of my day was opening the curtains to reveal the spectacular vista every morning, and stepping onto the balcony to check the weather. It wasn't always ideal, but the panorama more than compensated. The well-equipped kitchen induced me to make breakfast most days (there's a good market three blocks away) and the nearby restaurants have decent menus if you want to go out for dinner. This condo is very relaxing. Really.

Loved Ilikai ...great location. Main pool was closed which was disappointing. We would stay again. Great place. Clean perfect location. Pool was closed but otherwise perfect.

We love the Ilikai, and 1904 was the nicest apartment we have stayed in. Up to date with good, recent furniture. 1904 has one of the best views in the building, high floor with direct, wide view of the marina and sunset. We spend hours on the lanai! Nicely stocked with beach chairs, towels and gear; plenty of kitchenware including a couple of spices. Great location so no need to rent a car and fight for parking in Honolulu. Easy walk to shopping, bus to zoo, aquarium, art museum, Bishop Museum, etc. We occasionally rent a car for a day to visit other parts of the island (double check your timing for traffic!). HVP is very efficient and easy to call. Thank you!

I based my choice of apartment on previous good reviews and we were certainly not dissapointed. It had everything we needed and a fantastic view for sunset drinks. Will definitely return.

Great location, with fabulous views.The apartment was clean and well maintained.For us this was a return visit to 1904.Great to be able to relax and and chill out.Would recommend this unit to anybody, and hopefully return once again.

All 3 rooms were amazing. Beautiful views, comfortable and accommodating. All of our family enjoyed the rooms and have said God willing we should come back we would rent from Hawaii Vacation Properties. And request those rooms.Thank you very much for allowing us to stay stay in the condos. We had an amazing wedding and experience with Ilikai.

I can't say enough about my stay in the condo at Ilikai Suites. The condo is beautifully furnished, clean, the kitchen is well-appointed, the view of the marina and ocean is fantastic (what incredible sunsets),and centrally located to malls and shops, to name just a few of the attributes. I will definitely stay here again and would only rent through Hawaii Vacation properties. In fact, I am planning my next stay!

Had a truly wonderful stay at this apartment. The views and sunsets are stunning. The room was clean and well appointed. Very spacious. We had friends staying next door at The Modern, so it was extremely convenient. Great bars and shops nearby. Walked to the Lagoon and into main Waikiki in no time, a lovely walk too. Would definitely stay here again. It is well priced and really fantastic.

This was my third straight year to stay a the Ilikai. Always request the same unit, 1904. Best view of he marina, magic island, Pacific Ocean and the sunset. It is safe, secure. clean and the view is breath taking. Kathleen has always been so accommodating, the staff at the hotel are considerate and want you to feel at home. I would not consider anywhere else when in Oahu. Definitely recommend the Ilikai for any one going to Hawaii.

We stayed at the condo between 05/05/2016 - 05/20/2016, the place was presented in immaculate condition as described and seen on the website. It was a real home away from home with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Clos to all public transport and walking distance to shops and restaurants. The view from the lanai was great and very entertaining, we wished we had booked longer as we didn't want to leave. Go the The Pantry for your food and beverage supplies a ten minute walk away, once again thanks for making our holiday a memorable one.

We stayed in #1904 for four nights, and found it to be a very nice condo, with a wonderful View. Close to everything , and very handy to transit. The ilikai is a lovely old hotel with lotsof character.....would stay again......!

Well laid out apartment with heaps of wardrobe space, shelves and storage. Well equipped. Well stocked with utensils and beach requirements. Good seating / lounge area. Gorgeous evening sunset view and also over the harbour and boats. Would definitely use this suite again and in fact will look for it next time I'm in Hawaii.

We loved this room! The view over the harbor was breathtaking. The sunsets amazing from our lanai. The room is clean and we had everything we needed. There were even a couple of beach chairs and a cooler that we used each day. Parking is $30 a day at the hotel - we opted for the parking across the street above the Red Lobster and Outback Steakhouse for $20 a day. The walk to it is not bad and it is convenient to get in and out. The location of this hotel is at the west end of Waikiki - it is right next to the Hilton that has a beautiful lagoon that anyone can swim in. You are also right at the start of the boardwalk that goes the entire stretch of Waikiki - it is fun to walk and people watch and play at the beach where you can rent any water toy you can think of and more! If you are there on a Friday night - catch the fireworks at the Hilton about 7:45 - they were fantastic - sit in the grass at the Hilton and each the shrimp from the food truck - fabulous! The traffic in the city is like LA - get out early in the morning to miss most of it. Once out of the city - the traffic is much less. Would highly recommend staying here - great location, views, and memories!

1904 is absolutely perfect. It was the ideal location to view the July 4th firework at Magic Island. This place is close to beach at a fraction of the cost of nearby hotel resorts. I will definitely stay here again. The unit is equipped with beach towels, chairs and umbrella. A perfect place to stay in Waikiki.

Our visit was so relaxing. The minute we would walk into the condo we would open the big windows to let in the fresh air and to enjoy the view. The condo was clean and comfortable. Easy walk to wherever we wanted to go in Waikiki. We definitely plan on coming back.

Everything was super easy from booking to leaving, keyless entry definitely a plus. Accommodations were great, comfortable, great decor, and the amazing views! All amenities included also great. I would have liked 2 higher beach chairs, the sand chair a little low for over 50 group. Would definitely come back to this unit, perfect location as well.

Had a wonderful stay. Some friends were staying in the same complex & greeted us when we arrived and helped us with our bags, etc. They raved about how nice our unit was compared to theirs that hadn't been updated. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the completeness of the amenities. Some of the cutlery had to be re-washed. Did it by hand as couldn't get the dishwasher door open. View was fantastic. Push button door lock was very convenient. Bed was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again & will definitely recommend to friends & family! Thank you!

Our 3rd stay on both the Hilton and marina side. Marina side is our favourite. Spectacular views and sunset. This was also the nicest unit we've stayed in. Wonderfully furnished, very updated including beach chairs, lanai table and chairs. Kitchen very well equipped but more than 2 T towels would be nice. It would be nice to have a sponge mop to do the floors and lanai.
Would definitely rent here again and recommend to friends.
Only one persistent problem, the telephone was very staticky, even though manage quickly changed the phone, the problem continued.

When my son opened the door and walked in he said, "Wow, you hit a home run with this rental."
When you rent something on the internet there is always that fear.gosh, I hope it is everything that it is suppose to be. I had searched the internet for days when I happened across this vacation rental by owner. It was within our budget and offered everything we needed. From the gorgeous views and sun sets, to the comfortable bed everything was thought of. Clothes storage was perfect. I especially liked the fact the kitchen was well prepped for a cook. Nice cookware and dishes. Not typical for most rentals. Thank you for sharing your home away from home.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying at the condo. It was beautifully decorated, very comfortable, and had an incredible view! We loved having a kitchen available and cooked many meals while we were there. We made the quick trip to FoodLand just a few blocks away at the Ala Moana mall, and saved a lot of money by making breakfasts and lunches at the condo. The condo was very quiet and peaceful, and we enjoyed having our morning coffee/tea on the balcony overlooking the ocean/marina. Our friends stayed next door at the Hilton Hawaiian Village-they paid a few hundred dollars more, and while it was a pretty room, it did not have the amazing ocean view, a living room area, nor the fully equipped kitchen. They said next time they would stay at the Ilikai too. My only critique is that I wish the condo had been stocked with more toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap. It would have been nice not having to worry about those necessities. Overall, can't say enough how much we loved the condo and we can't wait to go back!!
Response: Mahalo for your reply. As you pointed out we are considerable less expensive than the Hotels in this 5 star location. This is due to not having daily housekeeping service fees and replenishing the amenities on a daily basis. Upon arrival the following starter set is included and set up for your arrival. One roll of paper towels, one tp per person, liquid soap, 5 dishwashing tablets, new sponge, bar soap for the shower & vanity, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. 2 sets of Towels per person, a Beach Towel and 2 beach chairs per condo. We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to your return!

I had a great time in Hawaii.. The unit is lovely. Was as described. The view was beautiful. It was great watching the ships go past, people parasailing, people surfing. Everything is very handy. I walked to Ala Moana shopping centre and it took me 10 minutes. I travelled to Hawaii on my own and felt very safe. Also the keyless entry is a great idea. No need to worry about losing keys or cards!
