Beautiful View of the Marina.

We had a lovely stay in room 1827 for 7 nights (2 adults, 2 kids). The room was clean and fresh and had beautiful views of the marina which was particularly amazing for watching sunsets. The kitchen was well stocked and the beach chairs and beach bag were useful additions. It did get a bit cramped after 7 days, especially with no daily service. The hotel facilities are great and it is about a 15 min drive walk to the main area of Waikiki and a 10min walk to Ala Moana shops. - (Feb 2020 - AirBNB)

Great Location and Stunning Views

Great location and amazing views! Facing the ocean and not hearing any road noise coming from busy streets was very nice.Loved staying and planing on coming back soon again.Property was very nice and clean. Having multiple beds was very convenient.AC was little loud and turning on and off constantly but did the job... not sure it is how should be or getting old possibly...Definitely recommend to my friends! - (Sep 2019 - HVP)

Very nice view from the balcony. place is about a 15-20min walk to the beach, shopping places and restaurants. the host provided good amount of towels including beach towels. everything you'd need in the kitchen is available. Valet parking is $28/24hrs. - (Sep 2019)

we had a great time in a very nice condo

The Ilikai hotel itself is undergoing some renovations but it is an iconic hotel with lovely landscaping. The condo is exactly as the pictures portray and we were well pleased. The third member of our party did not make the trip and she was to have slept on the futon couch, so I cannot report whether it is comfortable or not. The two beds were comfy. Having a full kitchen was helpful in keeping food costs down. It was well stocked with pots/pans/plates etc. The only condiments were salt/pepper. There is a nice grocery store called Food Pantry a few blocks away. There is a lagoon attached to the Ilikai, but I much preferred walking over to "magic island". The condo also came equipped with beach towels, chairs, umbrella, cooler, and boogie boards. All in all, we had a great time in a very nice condo and I would definitely stay here again! - (Aug 2019)

Great apartment in a fantastic location. Everything was as stated in the listing. Extensively furnished kitchen. Boogie boards, beach umbrella & beach towels provided were much appreciated. Great location, plenty of food offerings around the hotel, room was clean and as depicted on the website. No surprises. Well set up in terms of everything you need to get started. Kitchen well stocked with utensils etc, plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. Beach chairs, umbrella etc were very handy. For 2 of us plenty of room in the apartment. All in all very pleased with our stay. The only real downside for me, as a light sleeper, was the vertical blinds stop no light at all, I was awake at dawn every day. Other than that I would have given a 5 star review. Having said that I would stay there again. - (May 2019)

Gorgeous place

Loved this building as it was conveniently located and accommodated all our needs. We would also book through HVP again because they were easy to deal with and ensured our stay was great. This unit was recently renovated and was done well. The AC however was inefficient and would not be able to keep up with summer temperatures. Luckily we were there for a short stay in winter. This apartment is located in a perfect position, close to shops, the beach and the lagoon. It was a very clean apartment with nice linens and a full kitchen. We had two adults and two children (8 & 6) stay for a week, and it was just large enough & comfortable - (Nov 2018)

We highly recommend this location

We highly recommend this location. This airbnb is just as you would expect from the pictures. The location was ideal for our family of 5. Everything we needed was just steps away: the beach, lagoon and food. We also walked to the mall, which was about 15 minutes away. We enjoyed the marina view on the balcony each morning and watched beautiful sunsets. The fold out sofa was firm but comfortable to sleep on. There were plenty of regular towels, just 3 beach towels, 2 beach chairs and a styrofoam cooler. The kitchen could use a small pot, but was otherwise well stocked. We only needed to use a Lyft to get to wedding festivities, Pearl Harbor and used a shuttle for the airport; we saved a ton on car rentals and parking. The beaches in this area have really hard sand, so I don't recommend them for water play unless you have on water shoes. For snorkeling and such, consider going to Waikiki, Hanauma Bay or quieter beaches on the west or north. We were busy between wedding festivities, so we stuck nearby and let the kids play in the lagoon, where you can rent stand up paddleboards, aqua-cycles and other amusements.
