Beautiful view, the room was gorgeous. Thankfully we got exactly what was advertised! On the days we were in the room and in the evenings, we were able to relax on the lanai or watch tv (which had access to stations just as if you were home). The kitchen was fully stocked, the bathroom could've used a few extra towels/rags but it was fine. The only issue I had was the ac, couldn't figure out how to keep the room cold or at least a comfortable temp. It ended up making the linen on the bed feel a little damp and muggy. That was a minor issue, other than that it was beautiful. Effortless check in/check out, the itinerary we received in the email was very detailed. Great property!!
Great suite and well appointed. Enjoy the fireworks 💥 right from your lanai on Friday nights‼Beautiful views of the Hilton Lagoon and the beach. Right across the street from the more expensive Hilton Hawaiian Village with a full kitchen!
Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at The Ilikai apartment 1038. Room was exactly as shown on the web site, the view over the lagoon and of the Friday night fireworks was amazing. The apartment had all we required and was very comfortable. Great self check in and HVP was only a phone call away if we needed anything. Thank you HVP, we look forward to booking with you again
My vacation at this unit was perfect! It was very clean and it was supplied with everything I needed as I buy my groceries. I spent a lot of time on the lanai when I am not doing excursions or sitting by the pool or beach. The view is spectacular and of course the Hawaiian sunsets are #1. If I want to go on a tour or head on the Waikiki Trolley, the bus companies pick me up right in front of the hotel. It is very convenient and I enjoy walking down pass the marina to the pier. You can also catch a sunrise. I am very happy with Hawaii Vacation Properties with their continued excellent service and spacious, beautiful units!
The location and view is the epitome of relaxation. Patio is a great place to relax and watch the surf. It’s also the best place to view the 5pm conch and torch lighting and the Friday evening hula and live music. The room is nicely decorated, lots of great storage options, and wonderful blackout curtains. The keypad entry was an awesome option, no need to worry about a key on the beach. The only issues were the fridge, shower, and bed. The fridge had a very nasty smell when we first arrived. We have to get some coffee to take the smell out of things. Part of the issue may be that it’s on its last legs, as the fridge didn’t keep things cool, let along cold. While the freezer took a two days to freeze ice cubes, it seemed to still be working, but the fridge was actually warm. The shower is a bit old and has some obvious buildup on the sliding doors, interior and shower head. The bed is a true King, but it’s old style spring bed that has a detached headboard. While the bed is comforatable enough, it’s starting to sag and some of the springs are sticking up.There are beach chairs and other beach equipment available, but some are getting a bit worn out and could use replacing.
We have stayed at the Illikai many times and this was the best Unit and Property management company so far.
My husband and I had a great week from March 26-March 31, 2018. We both spent a lot of time just sitting on the balcony enjoying the sounds and smells of Hawaii. The suite was very well stocked with all the needed equipment for meals, it very, very clean, and had plenty of storage for the visitor. The only difficulty we had was with the wheelchair that my husband has recently come to need. We had to figure the exact angle to get it through the door but once we got the angle right it worked. To avoid this problem next time (if he still needs it) we will invest in one of the electric scooters since they are more narrow and the concierge says if we call in advance it can be waiting for us on arrival. We highly recommend this suite. Already checking our budget to see how soon can we go again.
We had a wonderful "Stay-cation" at this great condo... especially enjoyed the super easy "Self check in/out" feature and access to a full sized kitchen. Our condo also had a great view of the city, which was especially pretty at night. Also enjoyed the location... easy access to an abundant array of restaurants which are in close, walking distance to the hotel. Would definitely consider staying here again in the future. The only drawback would have to be the price of overnight parking... even at the discounted rate of $23.00 a day, I found it to be a bit too pricey. All in all though, we had a very relaxing, fun and enjoyable stay at this condo!
My wife and I found this unit to be perfect for us. We had a bit of trouble figuring out the A/C but worked well once we did that. The condo had everything that we needed and was clean and well kept. There was even three boogie boards and three beach chairs. The only complaint we have was the noise of the traffic. We soon learned to keep the A/C running at night to drown out the noise. We would definitely stay at this property again.
