This was our first stay at the Ilikai Marina (we have stayed previously in two of the condos HVP manages in the Ilikai hotel). We will be back because of the location, parking, the view and the lack of traffic noise. Unit 1192 is very comfortable and we would be happy to stay again. Thanks HVP for making the reservation and check-in/out process so pleasant!
I loved my condo and I loved the location!I had a great holiday! We took the beach chairs out to magic island and watched the sunset.Great Acai bowls over the road.Walk was not to long to get the main stripthank you again!
I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough. The room was spotless, and had everything you could possibly need. Great views and close to everything. Will definitely be staying there again next year! Mahalo!!!
Stayed in this property for 2 weeks in September. It met our expectations and then some. We did not cook so couldn't attest to the kitchen aspect. Everything else was functional, well, almost - the sliding door to the nominal balcony was bolted shut. This did not take away from enjoying the views but no trade winds. Waking up to the beach, marina and ocean views was a great way to start the day. The parking downstairs was very convenient and relatively cheaper. The location was ideal and our favorite, compared to other places we stayed at in previous Waikiki trips. Kat and staff at HVP were easy to deal with. Booking process was straight-forward, so was checking-in and out. We aim to stay at one of their properties in this area for our next trip.
Glad it was as a good trip!.
We have re-checked the lanai door. It has a lock and slides freely when unlocked.
This is a great condo, very clean, well appointed with everything you need. Wonderful location just west of the Waikiki crowds, marina, ocean, and lagoon views. Only about 10 minute walk to Ala Moana shopping center, Walmart and Sams Club.Just steps to reasonable restaurants, Chart House, Red Lobster, Outback Steak House, and lovely pub downstairs, Harbor Pub which also has great food.We have stayed in this area for many years, just love the area and, will come back again.Had 1 minor set back, power went out one day and a little scary as we we in the elevator but managed to get out.Mahalo to Kat and the security guys, they do a great job for the Iliaki Marina condo building.
My 13 year old daughter and I stayed for a week in August. The room was very comfortable. Your close to everything one needs. We walked most everywhere. The views and fireworks were very beautiful. The staff and security were helpful and friendly,.The room had boggie boards, chairs, coolers and beach towels.there was more to see snorkeling by the ilikai than there was on our expensive snorkeling trip. There is a lagoon a short walk, 5 minutes from the ilikai condos. Or you can swim in the ocean. Many large turtles swam around us. The hilton offers paddle boards ect. For 48 an hour, however we found a paddle board shop around the corner for 18 an hour. We liked the seafood truck down by the beach, and it was reasonably priced. We liked the pizza, from the restaurant located at the ilikai. Ithe room exceeded my expectations. We loved it, and we cant wait to return.
We liked the location of this condo as it was close to the bus route, and was not far from the beach. The view is nice and the condo is well appointed, so everything is there to make your stay enjoyable.Only a couple of minor dislikes.Firstly, there is no pool.Secondly, although the lounge furniture looks nice, it is not really that comfortable to sit in.Would recommend this apartment to others - no problem.
This condo is really well located to provide a nearly 180 degree view of the marina, the ocean, the lagoon to the left, and Honolulu high rises to the right. In addition to the 5-star view, the condo was tastefully remodeled, and is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We like the layout of this unit compared to others at the Ilikai, with 2 doors that lead to the bathroom, and the "extra" mirror/counter area outside of the bathroom. It's very close to the garbage chute at the end of the hall, which is very convenient! (and no, there's no noise issue from that at all). Being on the 17th floor, you're pretty well insulated from street noise. The minuses are relatively minor. As someone mentioned, the sliding glass door needs to be replaced at some point. The balcony is SRO (standing room only). The Ilikai Marina suffers a bit by comparison with the Ilikai Hotel, which has some amenities, like a nice lobby, a restaurant, 2 swimming pools, and it's a little shorter walk to the beach. But, you won't get nearly as good of a view as you get from 1792, or as much privacy. And it might be difficult to find everything that we liked about this condo at the hotel - like a bathtub, or the mirror/counter area. All in all, we really enjoyed staying at this wonderful 17th floor condo.
This was our 3rd time within the past 4 years that we have stayed at Ilikai Marina Condos but our 1st time in unit 484 because the previous unit that we tried to book was not available during the time of our stay. We loved unit 484 because it was comfortable, clean, updated, warm and inviting. This unit had everything we needed from kitchen items, beach needs, space, bedding and towels. I especially loved the Hawaiian decor and the magnificent view! Mahalo for an amazing vacation & hope to stay in this unit again in the future. Aloha!
Very nice location. Close to Waikiki, shopping and beach. Garage access was nice and easy. Condo was adequately stocked. We ended up buying soap, paper towels, toilet paper etc, not realizing it was adequately supplied for the week. Plenty of clean bath towels. Nice to have beach towels, boogie boards, chairs, and a cooler bag. All in all, the condo exceeded my expectations. The only negative points are: (1) there is no dishwasher despite it being listed as an amenity. Not a big deal as they provide a rack and dish soap. (2) Not enough large pans/pots. It was difficult cooking breakfast for the family at times. I had to use two pans for pancakes. (3) TV remote doesn't work. I think the batteries are out. and (4) In order to work the DVD, you had to manually connect the cables. Very nice selection of DVDs provided. In summary, great place to stay. Reasonable rate per night. We would consider staying here again if our plans take us back to Waikiki.
Glad this Guest enjoyed their stay!
We will get them a Return Guest Discount when they return!
The condo instructions and info sheet inform our Guests to call if there is anything they need.
We would have been able to do a same day response for all of these concerns.
